our history
est. 1985

The Temecula Valley Golden Bears have a rich history of football success dating back to the school's founding in 1985. As a California Distinguished School, Temecula Valley is dedicated to providing a high-quality education to its students, and this commitment extends to the football program as well. Under the leadership of legendary Head Football Coach Bud Kane, the Golden Bears have made numerous playoff appearances and won several league titles. In 2015, the school's stadium underwent a renovation and was changed to turf, further enhancing the team's performance. In recent years, the Golden Bears have achieved even greater success, including winning the CIF D7 Championship and being named the Southwestern League Champions in 2019, and returning to the CIF D6 Finals in 2021. In addition to these accomplishments, the Golden Bears have also been named 1991 CIF D8 Champions, 2018 CIF Academic Champions, and Temecula City Champions in both 2019 and 2022. These achievements demonstrate the hard work, dedication, and talent of the Temecula Valley football team and its players.
